Hellenic American Leadership Council
Dear Friends,

On January 31st 1996, three Hellenic Navy Officers lost their lives during night operations at Imia.

20 years later, on February 11th 2016, a Hellenic Navy helicopter crashed on the Aegean island of Kinaros. That was the last mission of lieutenants Anastasios Toulitsis and Konstantinos Pananas, and Warrant Officer Eleftherios Evangelou. Tasos, Costas and Lefteris were the last three in a long list of heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice serving Hellas.

Under the auspices of the Consulate General of Greece in New York, HALC will be hosting a Memorial Service remembering and honoring all the Greek Officers killed on the line of duty.

The service will take place on Sunday February 12th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. (after Divine Liturgy), at the Holy Trinity Cathedral (337 East 74th Street, New York, NY 10021). Remarks will follow by the Consul General of Greece in New York, Mr Konstantinos Koutras and HALC Senior Fellow and Lt JG Nikolas Katsimpras, Hellenic Navy (ret).

Kindly RSVP to  (917) 200-8128 or to nikolas@hellenicleaders.com.

Sincerely Yours,

Nikolas Katsimpras
